An update from 'Mo' the head coach at our football academy -- 

Dear parents & guardians!
 
We are returning to our new training schedule on Saturday the 7th of September. 
 
Our new weekly schedule will see me lead, coach & mentor every training session moving forward. I am in the process of hiring a support coach to help us get organised more efficiently and reduce any disruption to our training sessions.

Our costs in more detail
This is a discussion I have quite frequently with parents, rightfully so. So I want to outline the importance of our costs for you. I recognise this is an investment that needs reassurance and with the number of new groups and clubs in our area, I am happy to explain why we are priced where we are and why making a small step up in your investment will make a significant change in your quality of life.

Our cost per session is £8.75. We have now moved to 1.5hrs of training so this works out to effectively be £5.83 per hour. We invest in a fantastic purpose built football facility that is both safe and secure. We hire this pitch all year round so our training continues without any issues. The venue offers great travel links and free parking for visitors. We pay a public liability insurance fee to ensure everyone who is involved in this academy is protected from the moment they arrive, to the moment they leave.

​​​ ​As well as the fees paid for having guaranteed access to this venue, we are also responsible for the upkeep & renewal of our training equipment. We are aiming to get support from reliable coaches that require a higher fee who will certainly add to our football academy. We also have an online website and payment platform which we have to pay separate fees for. Both of which make life easier for parents. I am solely responsible for spreading the word of our football academy to ensure our continuation, without the investment of parents we would not be able to continue. This comes at the expense of promotional material and visible ads to spread to word of our platform.

Lastly, your investment in your child is as much of an investment in me. My time while I am here is generally irrelevant because this is my passion so be reassured you have someone who lives by this football academy. during our hours of operation I arrive approximately 30 minutes prior to the start without fail and stay at the venue for as long as needed if in any case parents or guardians are running late to collect our players.

I hope I've provided a better picture of what goes into operating our football academy.
Your investment goes way beyond an hour and a half of training every week. I promise that you are in good hands and that your contribution will not only benefit your child, but every child who attends this football academy.
